Cambria CSD
Emergency Water Supply Project
The
Cambria CSD recently began operation its emergency water supply plant, just shy
of one year after initiating the Project.
The Plant is a brackish water treatment facility processing groundwater
through microfiltration, reverse osmosis, UV sterilization and advanced
oxidation. The Plant can treat up to 1.3 acre-feet/day, and the product water
is injected into the San Simeon Creek Aquifer to recharge the community's
potable water supply wells.
Presented by
Bob
Gresens, PE, Cambria CSD's District Engineer, will provide an overview of this
critical water supply project.
